Charukola Institute of Dhaka University arranged 3 day long
program named “Jainul Utsab” . Cultural
Minister Asaduzzaman Nur opened the program in 29 december. The program was chaired by AAMS Arefin Siddique, Vice-Chancellor of
the University of Dhaka. Differents type of products displayed in that
program. People came to the festival for buying painting, crafts etc. Some came for visiting this program. According
to a visitor faculties & students of the arts departments are morely
interested to show their work in the
festival. The program held in the Charukola institute every year. Aloka Nandita
Supriya an ex student of Charukola Institute came here with her family as a
visitor. She is so excited to visit this program with her family. “Student can
express their artistic skills in this festival,” said Aloka. She didn’t find
any change in this festaval comparing with the previous year. People of
different age visited the festival with
full of joy. They baught different items
and enjoyed the festival so much. Stall were crowded with the visitors. They
were satisfied by bieng able to show & sell their items. Mohammad Ashik
Khandakar a student & seller of painting of a stall said that they did their art
by taking concepts from the Jainul Abedin’s painting. “Visitors are so
interersted to buy our product a lot
because our products are so creative,”
said Ashik Khandakar. 8 deparments of Charukola Institute held with
their own stall. The departments were arts & painting, Historical paints,
Graphic design, Paint making, Drawing & painting
