On Christmas, every place was decorated with lights and sparkles. There were fun, entertaining games arranged for the kids to enjoy their special day.

Christmas day is celebrated on the 25th December consistently. it is a christian celebration, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and is generally portrayed by tinsel – decorated trees, mince pies, present giving. families come together to eat, drink and be merry. Santa Claus surprise kids with lots of gifts.

in Dhaka city christmas is celebrated in five star hotels, church and restaurants. On Christmas day every year five star hotels arrange so many programs for kids and family. the  Christmas prayers are held on churches. christian people pray for their beautiful life and wish Jesus Christ happy birthday.

 Every year, on Christmas day, in the first prayer session of the Christmas Eve at the Japmala Rani church in Tejgaon, Dhaka, Father Ranajit Siprian Gomez said, ‘the birth of Jesus was a joyful event for us’.

Holy Rosary Church is a Roman Catholic church in the Tejgaon area of Dhaka. It is otherwise called Tejgaon Church and once famously called the Japmala Queen Church. Under this Catholic church, there are 15,650 Catholics .prayers started at the church at last night 8 pm, where the archbishop greeted all and wished love, forgiveness, liberty, unity and joy . after prayer, people blew the candles and wished for their life. Japmala Rani Church arranged a fair like every other year on this Christmas. there were many stalls of jewelry, foods , toys and many more things.

one of a stall owner named Yunus said that, “ every year Christmas came with happiness and we sell our things with joy and people are happy coming here”

this year Pan Pacific Shonargaon Dhaka also arranged special programs for Christmas day like every year. the lobby and cafe area eatery was decorated with Christmas trees, treats house and lamp lights. in the pool side area there was all the sparkles, funny rides, magic shows and puppet shows, and many more things in the biggest kid’s party on Christmas day from 10 am to 4 pm. there were also Christmas dinner arrangements for friends and families. kids enjoyed a lot. there was also a Santa Claus. everyone was busy taking pictures with Santa. kids were surprised when Santa gave them gifts.

A visitor named Iniza said that, 

“ they celebrate Christmas day every year and feel that Jesus with them and blessed them continuously’’

though it is a government holiday many non- Christian people are also came in the church they enjoy the decoration, food and environment of Christmas.  They also enjoy Christmas on their own way. People enjoy their Christmas day with kids, friends and family with joy from their heart.
