Knowing to draw is not mandatory to make animation films

Biral Pakhir Mojma 7.0, A group discussion program based on making films took place at Canadian University, Banani, Dhaka on 24 December, 2016. This time their topic was Animation where Moniruzzaman Shipu, senior lecturer of ULAB as the chief guest put his speech on animation film making.

“Time and space which makes animation perfect. The sense of timing and spacing any object to the right place creates animated motion, which is called animation film”, said Mr. Moniruzzaman. He also said that, “Though drawing is important in this sector but know to draw is not mandatory to make animation films. Our observation skill makes animation films better”.

During delivering speech on animation films, Mr. Moniruzzaman mentioned ULAB students for several times for their great success on creating animation film. He also showed 4 animation films where 3 of which was created by ULAB students and 1 was his own creation.

Biral Pakhi takes place every month on a discussion of film making where Ishtiaque Zico, founder of Biral Pakhi Cine Club puts his speech by sharing some film making tips with whom are interested in film making. In the session of Biral Pakhir Mojma 7.0, Zico showed 3 new short films of 3 young film maker. “Blank Script” by Nazmul Hoque Nayeem, “Lulla-bye” by Mehadi Hassan Anik and “Run Into The Sand” by Rajib Khan Pathan Bappi.
